DC 35 donates $10,000 through the PATCH Fund to rebuild a playground in Springfield destroyed by Tornado

District Council 35 BM/ST attended Local 257’s cookout last Wednesday to what was a great turnout.

Joined by Business Agent Vern Gaylor and Local 257 president Guy Streeter, he presented Springfield Mayor, Domenic Sarno, City Councilor Melvin Edwards and City Treasurer  Stephen Lonergan  with a check for 10,000 dollars to rebuild a playground destroyed by the recent tornado. Reaching out to help the community has always been a top priority at the District Council as we strive to foster a mutually beneficial relationship with the public.
